COLOR PROTOCOL IN THE COMMERCIAL TOMATO
More than ever, you need a color protocol when growing the commercial tomato. Treatment programs with Biofeed® REBOUND™ may be the answer. Commercial growers in the tomato industry are always seeking answers to the problems that exist when trying to increase yields. However, growth has to go along with color and quality. One expectation is that tomatoes have the classic, full red color. In working with hundreds of his own customers, one Biofeed distributor is sharing the treatment programs they use on groups. At the center of those programs is Biofeed® REBOUND™.
Use a single application 15 to 20 days before collection
REBOUND™ 500 cc/Hl
Carry out the treatments, always at the first or last hour of the day, looking for the greater stomatal opening of the crop.
WHY DOES IT WORK?
REBOUND™ Foliar formulation promotes the translocation of nutrients to consummate the ripening of the crops, improves the movement of carbohydrates and proteins, from the leaves, stems and roots to the crop part, through the activation of amino acids (Methionine) and vitamins A, C, E and D.
Bio-promoter of phenylalanine, methionine, monosaccharides and extracts rich in oxylipines, provides at the same time the precursor (phenylalanine) and the activator (oxilipinas) of the biosynthesis of anthocyanins and flavonols, pigments that give the fruits red, orange and purple.
It favors the accumulation of the pigments and, consequently, improves the intensity and the extension of the coloration of the fruits.
REBOUND™ does not affect the consistency of the pulp and improves the post-harvest life by the activation of antioxidants resulting in a higher quality and color of the fruits.
TO ACHIEVE THE DESIRED EFFECT, WHAT CAN BE MIXED?
Biofeed REBOUND™ 100 cc/Hl (Participates in color)
Biofeed IRON-6 100 cc/Hl (Better metabolism and chlorophyll)
